VCR vidding in Xena femslash fandom?

I'm trying to track down more info on VCR vidding in femslash fandom. I gather there was a lot of early digital vidding in Xena fandom, but I assume Tarae wasn't the only person who made analog femslash vids.
Here's Kiss The Girl (c. 1998) and Show Me (c. 1999), in case folks haven't seen them.

Hugo Win for Murderbot
Sep. 2nd, 2026 02:36 pmmarthawellsI was so thrilled and happy that Chris Weitz, Andrew Miano, Britta Rowings, Dan Balgoyen from Depth of Field Productions, and David Dastmalchian (who plays Gurathin) and and Keith Levine from Phantom Four, and Stan Pham from CBS, were able to come to the LA WorldCon and the Hugo Awards to accept the Best Dramatic Presentation - Short Form Hugo for "All Systems Red" (written by Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz, directed by Roseanne Liang).
If you want to see us onstage, the Hugo Awards were streamed live and are now up on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AyarB0EVaM.
Our category is at about 2:09:00, with Ronald Moore presenting. (And you can see me in my pretty dress.)
Chris Weitz and Andrew Miano also came early to do a panel with me, with Brenda Clough as moderator, on adapting the book to the screen, but I think you have to be a member of the virtual convention to see that one.
